We were craving some Hawaiian BBQ and let me tell you what we ordered.
BBQ Chicken
Fried Rice
Loco Moco
Fried Chicken
Kalbi Ribs
Everything was delicious and fresh and served by a super nice lady who most likely owns the restaurant. I would definitely recommend the fried chicken as it comes with this sweet and sour chili sauce that is bomb on on everything we had! Also, they have an array of hawaiian fruit drinks in the fridge where you can just grab at your own free will. The portions are very generous so come hungry or you'll take some food to go. It is a small place so don't be coming in their with a family of 20. Definitely will come back to try the rest of the menu! -

We stopped in to try out some items on the menu. We tried the short ribs, pork with cabbage, island fried rice, spam musubi, gae gah, and the kimchi. It was all around tasty and affordable. They also do catering at a reasonable price.
It's a cute little place. Check it out! -

A bit grungy, not quite a dive, sort of a "should I really eat here?" kind of way. Maybe I just enjoyed all the crispy things today but I'll be back to try other items and will tell you, yes, you should eat here and have the Mochiko chicken, spicy or garlic. Super crispy and for a small up-charge we got the Hawaiian fried rice (spam only) as a sub for regular rice. My kid opted for the hamburger and I wasn't expecting much, but it was pretty awesome and huge for a $4 burger. The fries were extra, but there was a ton of them and they were smoking hot and, well, crispy. Oh, and the macaroni salad was pretty spot on (I did not expect this to be crispy). I noticed that they offer catering sizes too, so another plus, especially if I want $30 worth of the chicken.....

We stopped in for lunch today and our experience was great. The service was fast and really friendly. Our server made sure we had everything we needed. And the chicken was beyond delicious. We had the huli huli chicken, and whatever sauce they use is just so good. The chicken itself was tender and flavorful.
I also loved the rice, which is something many might not think much of, but rice is my favorite food and I can appreciate the way they cooked it! It was soft and not dry at all. The macaroni salad was also very good, but that's a must for a Hawaiian BBQ place.
The best part was that the prices were reasonable and they give good portions. I ordered the mini huli huli chicken plate, and that was just the right amount of food for me. My husband ordered the large plate, and he found it to be very filling, which is saying something because he eats a lot.
We will definitely stop here again the next time we're in Everett!
